Speaking about Ron History is talk of Canary Islands. On 1513 departed from the Canary Islands to Brazil and Santo Domingo, the first candy canes, the raw material of rum, which were cultivated there for the first time by D. Pedro de Atiensa and from there to Cuba.

Our Ronmiel, is still today a unique formula elsewhere in the world and therefore we have obtained protected designation of origin "Ronmiel" in preserving this Canarian treasure.
